Let's Finish this is a once a week event in which two things (be it video game characters, games, consoles, food, anything) are pitted againist each other and you, the forum members decide who wins.

This week, after skipping/forgetting/being lazy for a last week's event, we have our seventh event, Sora

the hero of the Kingdom Hearts series
vs
Riku

Sora's best friend and rival.

Now the rules are simple.
1. Be sure to vote in the poll!! That is what the final result comes from so if you don't use it your vote doesn't count. Mentioning who you voted for is optional but feel free to say who you voted for and have a discusion
2. Discusion of this match is to be held here and not on any other "Let's Finish This" thread
3. Any suggestions for future matches are to be submitted here Seriously need some more stuff. The Zack vs Cloud and FF XII races will be coming soon but not too soon as I've done a lot of Final Fantasy themed weeks and I'm trying to have this use a wide range of stuff so something not Final Fantasy related will be much appreciated
4. Voting for this thread closes on the 9th of April. I've put a time out on the poll so after a week voting automaticily closes. The thread will be closed sometime after that.

I voted Sora. Though Riku is obviously stronger, I don't really like him that much, so I chose Sora instead.

I never noticed before, but Riku appears to wear jeans^^.

Strength?
Likability?
Sexiness?
I voted on Riku. I guess because he's more interesting. He talks more than Sora in KH1, in Chain of Memories he had a greater internal struggle than Sora, and in KH2 he ended up saving the day.

Well, you're new here, so I guess you can't be expected to know how the GU folk decide things. For the GU folk, how good of a character someone is, is decided based on whether or not they are genuinely a likable character for the one doing the deciding. There is no set criteria for 'Let's Finish This'. The voter decides the criteria.

My vote is for Sora. Riku was a little too whiny for my taste. Sora was more upbeat and looking on the brightside.. this totally contradicts my dislike for ingenues.. but Sora's different.

I love Riku but I also love Sora they're both very good looking
but I still voted for Sora because he's always more cheerful than Riku
