Ok, for me this simply has to be Hope.

Sure, he becomes less of a whiney bitch later on, but he still has that annoying sound if he dies in combat that makes me want to stab something.

I'd go as far as saying he's the most annoying out of all Final Fantasy titles!
I swear, every time I see him I just wanna punch him to the floor. I'm at a point now where he's growing up a little and has made peace with the rest of the group... but gees, those first 20 hours were awful.

Well, some people have been dishing out hate for Vanille, and while I think some of her in-battle sound quips are annoying, she isn't that bad.

In battle shes annoying, but I think her character outside of battles is great. Haven't heard the english version, but native her voice was just as cheery and funny as the cutscenes I saw. I don't think they nailed the scene with her and Sazh nicknamed "Don't Cross This Line" in the english version very well.

Most annoying character goes to Snow, great actors, but horrible lines.

There has been hate for Vanille!? Evil sons-of-guns. Vanille is one of my favourite characters in the game. She's hilariously funny and the scenes with Sahz are really cool.

EDIT: @ Slash. I was under the impression that this was most annoying FF XIII characters.....
