As far as I'm aware Alpha testing at the minute is only availble to FFXI players. With the promotional code it entitles you to a special item on FFXIV release and i think it grants you a PS3 code which you can use to apply for a PS3 beta test key but I'm not 100% sure.

Haha lemme clarify... I was around his house and he was showing me a load of gameplay as well as all the japanese screenshots which came out recently. (I'm guessing from the beta build) etc etc.

A lot of the gameplay came from Gamescom last year, which I hadn't really seen and the screenshots from the Japanese build, all of which looked incredible =]


They are out there on these sites, a lot is even translated which is always good.
I even watched the stuff from the Vanafest event that happened a few weeks back which was cool xD
As I said, I'm just hoping I get my own beta code in the coming weeks.

Google it if you really want it. I hope SE burns BG it's full of big heads... People who are stuck up their own arses full of their own self importance.

Asides from that the whole sub class system looks nice and they way they have taken some Job factors from XI and merged them into one Job. Conjurer for an example looks like a cross between RDM and DRK i think

Totally agree, saw that post on BG, the complete lack of respect shown by some of the posters on there is just vile, very arrogant people.
