Well, this is good, isn't it?

I mean, we may or may not get it over here, but it's still good to know that we've got a release date now.

Good news for sure. I have high hopes for it coming to the west. They already spent the time and money getting english voice actors and everything when they localized it in 2006 so I'd think that it wouldn't be a hard thing to do. Fingers crossed...

Vesperia was a different beast that Abyss 3DS (at least how it's appearing so far), though.

Vesperia changed things enough due to Patty and Flynn where they'd need to re-dub most of the game in terms of the story and skits.

Agreed. They said that when they ported Vesperia to the PS3, it had almost twice as much voice acting as the original. In contrast, when Abyss was brought to the west it was the one that contained more content then its Japanese counterpart.

If Namco Bandai decide that they still love their western audience, then I'm guessing the release date would be around winter/spring of 2012. Different hardware, so they will probably need to re-dub voices assuming there will be voice acting along with marketing and any other factors involved.

If so I hope they keep the same voice actors or maybe even let us be the Sync, Legretta, Arietta, and Largo
