So I just wanted to know what everyone's final diagnose is for the Kinect. I have both the Playstation Move and the Kinect, I am going to keep my opinion hush hush. I want to hear is what everyone thinks first?

From what I'm hearing, I'm going to say that Kinect isn't doing so well in terms of entertainment but doing okay in terms of profits. There are just not a lot of quality games on the Kinect, compared to the Playstation Move. In the long run, I expect Kinect to fail and the Move to dominate it.

Yeah, Microsoft isn't really showing that much initiative with Kinect. The only game worth playing (IMO) is Dance Central, and it's really embarrassing to play (for me anyways, I'm not much of a dancer).

The applications outside of the 360, however are really picking up steam for Kinect, as homebrew development is impressing me so far.

For me it would be Move for gaming. But outside of gaming, the Kinect is actually pretty cool.

From what I have seen from the many videos on youtube and reviews...Its not groundbreaking in the realm of gaming. But it is impressive in terms of hardware.

Its true that they are making A LOT of money (thanks to the 500 million marketing campaign).

I would like to see Kinect develop into something more appealing to a wider audience of gamers.

From what I've seen, Move has more to offer. While neither really has a big ticket item for me, Move does have more.

I have played on both Kinect and Move (However, I don't own either). I really wasn't impressed by either of them. If I had to say which one was better, I would say Move, but that might just be because I'm a PlayStation person.

But, on topic, I don't think Kinect is bad, but neither do I think it's good.

Yeah you know I pretty much agree with you and what most people are saying, neither one of them blew me outta the water. But the move does have a better game line up for 2011 and seems to be much more useful as far as accuracy. I think over time, we will just have to see how each develops.
