I'm putting my entire life savings ( £1 ) on a Resistance 2 tournament/ event since that is a game that most people here have...

Actually Omen you are exactly right it does have to do with Resistance 2, dont worry, by request of Darryl the Resistance League has been moved significantly ahead and you guys should be getting the details very soon.
