Forum bot's have been hitting hard lately.
I'm sure they are trying to get a higher post count than me grrrr :mad:

Just wondering is there any reason why they have all suddenly latched onto our precious GU like leeches as of late? Is it because of GU being awesome?

Also... just out of curiosity, who receives the "reports" we send in?
I've built up quite a relationship with Ms. Report.. I think she's into me

To answer your question about why we latch on to Gaming Union so much is easy, subliminal messages.
That's why in the forum topics you get hungry, in the arcade section you get thirsty and when your away from G.U you suffer from withdrawl

Ok, I don't know exactly what the reason is myself, but i assume that there are key words that the spam bots have been using to find there way here, then they use keywords within the forums to decide where to post. I have actually been studying these things for about a year, since the initial attack on AWFF forums. Even with all my studying, i still don't know for sure

On the reports on the other hand, they go directly to the PM inboxes of all the mods and admins.

I think as the forums are becoming more popular, Spambots will become more numerous. And FYI, Omen, I am Mr. Report, and you can stay the hell away from my wife! lol I recieve all the reports, and Mods of specific forums also recieve reports from their particular forum.

Yeah, I get the reports too, they go right to my email inbox. So I guess Ms. Report is actually a bunch of dudes who are probably tired when they get to banning bots. I know that must sound hot ...... xD.

And they probably figured out our protection filter thing for registering an account. When we're back from TGS we'll update it to keep the spambots away.
