A classic that I've been very deep into lately. Ecco the dolphin is actually a very beautiful game, gorgeous scenery, and great music. I remember being a kid of about 7 or 8 playing this for the first time at my friends house. The whole game seemed kinda.... one-dimensional at first... just a stupid game where you swim around as a dolphin (a child's mind a work). but after you make that first jump into the sky, you find that the game is much, much more.

the entire mechanics of the game are awesome. As Ecco, you travel the seas searching for your pod, who got caught in a storm. And as you go on, you may start to feel for him.... the game will just suck you deeper and deeper, until you find you cannot put it down. Ecco's movements are pretty fluent, if you find yourself messing up, its only due to your own errors for the most part.

I could actually see there being an Ecco movie one of these days, and it actually being good.

Yea, one of the best thoughts I heard on that one was DRIFT_HEAD suggesting that maybe Sega should let Pixar Studios handle it. Considering their track record, I'd be willing to think that they would make an instant classic.

I feel very confident for Pixar Studios to do it but l think it would work better with actual real life footage some how.

Yea, but there are points in the story where live action just wouldn't cut it. such as (Ecco 1 and 2 spoilers)
The Asterite or The Vortex you know what I mean?
