Me too, obviously a totally unbiast survey done by a warranty company of over 16,000 new consoles isnt enough evidence for some people to see the 360's (post sept 2007) reliability is the same as the PS3's...

Yeah it's called no lemon, don't worry, it's replaced after you break it twice and it's matched by features on SP's, on replacements it's matched by value. I work at one of these company's so I know the dice. I would never recommend buying them on a small purchase unless it's something where the customer service and warrantys are bad for, as they're ususally at least 1/3 of the cost of the core product. In my case I get these plans for an abysmal rate, so I get them on anything over 300$ except desktops or vacuums.


And no, US/Can standards for electronics manufacturers isn't as good as in the UK or AUS. These forums confuse the crap out of me, I always have UK (didn't realise you were not from North America) people jumping down my neck because they live in Utopia and I have no idea why they think Microsoft is so awesome.

In my personal experiance, microsoft were a lot nicer to deal with to fix my broken console, no questions asked, sony were a pain and refused, even though the law does state they have to fix it, it sometimes the consumer to prove the fault, which is what they chucked at me! Which I wasn't happy with!

So over here, Microsoft are great! Sony suck! Lol

As the thread starter, I just wanted to come back and report. I finally bought an XBOX 360 a couple weeks ago, and I love it. I got the Final Fantasy XIII bundle with the 250 GB hard drive, and it's just great. I've already bought like 10 games, so I'll be very busy for awhile.

I like PS3 games.
Uncharted and Uncharted 2 are the best PS3 games! also God of war and Little big planet/ Oh and metal gear solid 4 is my favorite PS3 game of all time better than Uncharted 1 and 2!!!!!
