Well, I guess thats a one up for 360... It can play music in every game, and if it shuts off do to a game, it will automatically reload back to exactly where it stopped. Also, It will not only read the iPod (shocking for a Microsoft product, I know) But as long as the song you are wanting to play was uploaded from an MP3 source (as opposed to the ACC as I mentioned b4) You can listen to it..... Unfortunately, you cannot find this out until you try to play it and you get an error message, but still.

Correct. The iPod connection is VERY annoying on the PS3.
Also because of copyright, it's complicated to get music stored on the PS3 without a disc.
I believe that it wouldn't be any problem to have music playing while playing any game on the PS3... but I guess because of the amount of money development teams put into game music and new compositions etc Sony leaves it up to them to allow music to be played or not.

I am very defensive because i know a few PS3 fanboys, they are always slating the 360 and i get fed up with it. I tend not to listen to people who only have 1 system because their opinions and arguements will almost always be biased, sometimes its not the case but that is a rare occasion. The 360 has good points too and these are never brought forward, without me 'tearing' into your post there was no consideration or fair comparison for the 360. Thats why i defend it, sometimes i defend Sony but most of the time the 360 cos its what i play the most.

You got that right, when the new generation ipods came out i managed to crash the PS3 with it, im pretty sure thats been fixed now though.

First of all I'd like to ask why bother plugging your ipod to your PS3/XBox360? Why don't you just use headphones like a normal person or plug it into a proper sound system instead like normal people do?

And secondly @Eskimo Keith- I never said PS3 was better than 360 online- I said the opposite was true but the difference in quality wasn't worth paying for with the 360. With regards power you're taliking rubbish. Yes a game using all the power but with awful game play would be rubbish but that's irrelevant as poor gameplay with any power is rubbish. The point is that with more power you can do more with a game to make it better- i.e. high power + good gameplay > little power + good gameplay.

Thirdly I don't think the 360 is a bad console I just prefer the PS3. OK?

I was only putting things into context, you could sit there all day claiming about how good the PS3 is and how powerful it is but at the end of the day the developers make the good games, not the console. Yes the PS3 has more potential and until they prove it i can't justify the price point of it.
I'd also like to apologise for coming off a bit strong but you did come off a bit biased in your post. I know everyone has there own opinion and i was just voicing mine like you do yours.
I don't mean to flame you or personally butcher your posts with 360 fanboyism but you'll always have someone to point out flaws in your arguement or trying to defend what you are dismissing as the inferior console

Yeah right lol. 360 fanboys are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more annoying. There is a reason you can look up like 50,000 videos of 10 year olds going on the longest rants know to man on the multiplayer games on 360. I'm serious, stuff like that never happens on the PS3. Or it hasn't in my experience. While it can happen on the PS3, all you get when going into Xbox Live is to be doomed to end up in a party with a kid who is swearing up a storm and bashing everyone no reason.

Man the stories I could tell all of you of the things that have happened on Xbox Live that I have experienced xD

Screaming kids+Their mothers+People blasting music into the headset=Epic fail.
