Finally picked up the copy today (due to gas issues, needed to do it when I was already on the road), so I'll post my impressions on GU's Twitter either tonight or in the next two days or so (lots of uni stuff going on ATM).

Cool stuff Shawn, we still have to wait another two months (although US games work on EU DSs...). I started a new game of FireRed for the time being.

So far from what I've played, a lot of the issues from D/P, like the slow text speed (even on the fastest setting) and switching from the trainer to the Pokemon in battle has been sped up dramatically, which is a huge plus. Smile

Question: I am a 21 year old guy who hasn't played Pokemon in like 10 years. What is the age cut-off? I live in HK so obviously many ppl play it but I am afraid that I will get bored.

Any thoughts?

I don't really see how an age cut-off plays into Pokemon. I'm 21 and I still play the games, as well as the TCG.

I enjoy Pokemon more for the battling aspect (EV's, IV's, Natures, etc.), so I get more mileage out of it (probably because I enjoy SRPG's).

I've always enjoyed it and I'm a lil bit older, much like Shawn says basically the battling is nicely done and the fact its quite expansive makes it quite a time eater I've always found.
