I just got this game collection the other day and i think it easily the best collection of old games on one disc. Its got around 50 games from the Sega Genesis on it.
Now i normally wouldn't go out and get one of these collections, but the fact that they put the first 3 Sonic games along with Sonic and Knuckles alone made it worth the $30 imo. I'll try out the old phantasy stars and all the other games that are on it but im mainly going to play the old sonic games. They make me feel like a kid again playing sonic at his house when i was 8.

did anyone else get this or is thinking about getting it?

I have the Sonic Mega Collection which came out on the PS2. Since then it seems that SEGA have released twenty billion of the things. xD

I'm too much of a modern gaming fan to bother picking this up. I like the stuff that pushes boundaries. Even if they did push boundaries at the time, I feel no longing to go back to any retro game.

I was just looking at this at work the other day. I think I may just pick it up. I mean, it's got all the Sonic games, Comix Zone, and both Vectorman games! Those were so good!

Hell yea!

The only Trophy I can see that actually looks hard is the Gold Trophy for beating Doctor Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine..... that's gonna be rather tricky.
