IIRC, I think Darryl's using a mix of PHP & MySQL for the backend, with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the front end.

Edit2: Please don't think that I am just pointing out flaws, I am really enjoying the site, but a couple of things I noticed: the 'JOIN THE GU COMMUNITY!' link does not go to a join page, and the 'Unions' dropdown tab doesn't seem to work?

Pretty much, it's not live yet, it's "live". We're still testing out bugs and stuff, which is why the Resistance Retribution review isn't complete, etc. xD

Btw Gilburt, what did you mean about the Union's drop-down not working?

You'll also noticed stuff like RSS is missing, the search isn't fully implemented, the "ads" are static images, other misc. links are not created, Videos section isn't up, 404 page not properly "styled" FFU-like, etc.

Darryl's already coding a lot of it, so the "rest" of the stuff should be up pretty soon.

When one hovers over it, it comes up with:

Square Enix
Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy XIII
Insomniac Games
Resistance Retribution
Tales of

right? I can move my mouse and hover over/click Square Enix, but all the others below that do not work. When I try to even hover over them the dropdown list disappears, reappears for a split second and then disappears permenantly. I have a feeling that it is probably something to do with the fact that the list appears over the 'JOIN THE GU COMMUNITY!' link. If so, that may mean that the other dropdown tabs may do the same thing when something fills in that grey advertising space that is currently blank.
