Very exciting development for the FNC fans. The new trailers from the Square Enix private party DK∑3713 earlier this year were released on DVD and have now been (as was inevitable) leaked onto the internet. The trailers are set out similarly to the older trailers that you have no doubt seen in one way or another from past game shows, etc. They have of course, been added to and changed, this time more so than usual, giving exciting insights into the world we will be delving into late next year (or early next year if you plan on importing the Japanese demo with FFVII: Advent's Childeren Complete). They are both making me feel really good about enduring all the pain Square seem to like to give their fans, and the 'Coming 2009' at the end of the XIII trailer really gave me hope that the end to the wait is not too far away. The trailers are both Japanese, unfortunately, but the Versus video does include English 'narration' text. The XIII video showed what seemed to be graphics from an in game cutscene, and if they are indeed in game, then the graphics look to be utilising all of the capabilities of the PS3 and XBOX360 alike.

Have you gotten yourself over to FXN (http://www.ff-xiii.net) and joined the forums there? Its actually where I came from to here and if you're excited about Final Fantasy then I can't think of a better place to socialise (apart from here of course).

I'm still not sure which I am anticipating more. While Final Fantasy XIII looks like it has quite an expansive world, Final Fantasy Versus XIII's characters seem a lot more appealing and I think the story might be better.

I thought the trailers looked great. I'd been staying away (more like forgotten about) FNC related news and have been focusing on other games like Prince of Persia and LittleBigPlanet. This is a nice breath of fresh air from Square, seeing as most the trailers were not simply extended scenes.

The trailers got me excited about FFXIII all over again. The in game scenes look amazing, for both FFXIII and Versus! Man I hope SE releases some gameplay footage soon

They should release some gameplay video pretty soon, at least, for XIII. They're bringing out a demo in 3 months time, so they are leaving it a bit later than normal to show the first bits of gameplay. Not that SE ever do anything normal...

They have released some gameplay related stuff, but none in the form of a video unfortunately. The recent scans really look stunning though, I can't wait to see the battle system in motion!
