Has anyone been able to get access to the Beta?

I have and I'm really enjoying it. Oddly enough, I prefer playing the co-op mode rather than competitive. I played competitive to death in R:FoM, so it's a nice change that they've offered something different this time around.

Yeah I'm in the Beta and I'm enjoying it 10 times more than the first one. There was something about the first one that didn't agree with me, but this one feels like a new game. The coop is very fun. It may get tedious in the end but it'll certainly give you lots of thrills before then. Having a good mix of enemies is definitely a great addition, and the weaponry has improved also.

Let's hope the single player experience is good also.

Yea, I think that in the actual game there will be so much variety between missions. I mean, even though I've been played for like 6-7 hours, no mission has really been the same.

Sure there are certain checkpoints which appear, but how the mission is structured and your role within the mission changes each time. I think the coop play could have some really long legs.

Well it seems that Orick has about 6 different missions in the beta most using the same areas but different routes and enemies, it seems to mention something about there being 12 though on that page in the co-op section. Really enjoy how well they made the team play work though, you can clearly see when a team is working together or not.

The only bad things i can think of are that the titans sometimes get stuck and the grims arn't all that scary since they move pretty slow. But thats only minor really. Its constant carnage and you really feel like you're going to die constantly in the really heated battles.

Competitive I haven't done too much of, you kinda get such a buzz just from doing 8 player co-op then again I haven't tried a 60 player match yet, i did a 10v10 and i liked that I just got quite lost in the level i played the size of maps is pretty nuts.

I really enjoyed Skirmish. It does actually work 60 player because of all the different objectives. You don't really even think about all the other people that are in the game.

I'm having a lot of fun with the coop campaigns as well. Although I have to admit I have come across some people who just refuse to play their class roles XD But all in all it is a damn addictive experience. My favourite class is the Medic
I've been playing all week, I think I have at least about 20 hours into coop. I haven't done much competitive though, I always get my ass handed to me, lol.

I thought the Grims would move a lot faster though, it would have been much more of a rush if that were the case. Also, I don't think the Titan getting stuck is a glitch, one of the berserk modes for the Medic allows him to paralyze any target with his secondary fire (I always do that XD).

Yea, the medic is great. I love it because it's completely self sufficient; you don't have to rely on anyone else.

I have since explained to Selyah about the joys of Chloroform. It completely owns the Alpha Grims.

Yea, that's so true...man I can't wait for R2's release. The multiplayer alone is so addictive, and I'm looking forward to seeing what other berserks/equipment they have for us to unlock

I'm interested to see what the "Pulse Cannon" is. It's listed in the Competition stats, but obviously doesn't appear anywhere in the game. There has also been a distinct lack of new Chimeran weapons, but I'm sure we'll see more of them once the game is released.
