16 OCT 2008. The day PSP update ver 5.00 is released, or more to the point, PSN comes to PSP. And once again Sony have rushed, cut corners and broke the update. Is anyone experiencing the problems I am to signing up to the portable PSN? It says:
A connection error has occured.
(80550F17)
My connection is clearly fine. Please tell me I'm not the only one!

No fear! Alas, it was just a few teething problems, which is what I dared hope it was. Everything appears to be hunky-dory with the system now. There doesn't appear to be anything particularly new (as expected), and the only downloadable content for PSP at the moment is a couple of vehicle packs for Wipeout Pulse. Plenty of demos though.

I've noticed some loading issues inside the PS Store, where it takes a long arse time to load the page.

Also noticed loading issues in the avatar selector, since you have to wait till every one loads before you can make your selection, AFAIK.

I still haven't updated too the new firmware and probably wont be doing so till I'm home and back to using it lol

Yeah, I have noticed this too. I don't know wether they can really fix that, we might just have to live with it Sad. How good is you connection? Having faster internet should help it load I suppose...

Where are you?

When that was posted I was at my girlfriends, and my psp was at my house lol
