I just beat Tales of Symphonia. It was so worth the eBay bid war and getting a controller and memory card. I love Zelos and Kratos. And Lloyd is funny Smile I recommend this to anyone looking for a classic JRPG to play.
KH 3D. Pretty awesome!

Finished Resident Evil: Revelations. I did quite enjoy it. And the raid mode gives it a lot of replayability so even though I've finished the story I'll still be spending plenty of time with this game.

I'm late to the game, I know. But I beat Batman Arkham Asylum the other day. Managed to pick it up for 10 bucks new at Gamestop the other day. (along with Arkham City for 30). They are both definitely great titles. Not sure about GOTY quality, but definitely polished and well designed titles.

Just finished Mass Effect 3. I have to say I absolutely loved these games. I'm kind of pissed I missed the first one because I don't own an Xbox360 and my PC is a piece of crap but I will play it some time in the future.

The ME trilogy probably has my favourite story of all time in a video game. I loved the grandeur of it, I loved the twists and turns and I loved (almost) all of the characters. I'm actually feeling a bit sad that the journey is now over.

I went with FemShep. I checked both male and female out and preferred her voice better. I couldn't imagine Shepard any other way now. Jennifer Hale did an amazing job (as did the rest of the cast).

In ME2 I was an infiltrator because I like being a sniper. I started as an infiltrator in ME3 but when I learned about the carrying capacity/cool down time mechanic I restarted and played as an adept instead, just carrying a pistol to minimise recharge time. It was a lot of fun.

A few things story related:

Beat Splinter Cell: Conviction last night and enjoyed it. The story was weak but good enough to keep me going and the gameplay was fantastic. It was so fun killing people will the execution method but a do wish that they put more stealth options in. Sometimes I was forced to go all out action on the bad guys. I hope that Blacklist improves on Conviction.

Beat SMT Nocturne and I gotta say, I didn't think I had it in me to beat it. I picked it up since I was in the mood to try it and I couldn't stop. I did really well and made up my own party and it was a really well done game. Music is very good and I actually prefer it over that up-beat music from Persona games. Although, Nocturne has a completely different atmosphere so I guess it works. Bosses were tough but that's what SMT games are all about. Got the Neutral ending since I wanted to be in the middle (sort of Deus EX). Next time I'll go for either the good or bad. I'll probably never attempt True Demon ending because of the true final boss and because I gotta fuse sooo many different demons and it'll take too damn long. All in all, one of may favorite RPG's I ever played.

I finally finished Persona 3 FES "The Answer" after a lot of stopping and starting. I really enjoyed the story. I felt like it was a nice conclusion and a good happy ending (I think Junpei actually says something about it being a happy ending, dangerously close to breaking the fourth wall).

Gameplay of course was solid because it was the same as the main game but there were times when it felt like a bit of a chore not having the social links and other stuff to break up the monotony of dungeon crawling. I had a couple of ragequit moments as well, but fortunately for my sanity I beat the final boss on the first try.

All in all the complete Persona 3 FES package was very enjoyable.

Now on to Persona 4.

Just beat Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and mapped out Xehanort’s timeline. I now think that this game may be better than both console Kingdom Hearts games. The overall story was fantastic (the main Disney stories are still weak but enjoyful) and the gameplay was fun while being innovative. I won't spoil the story but it has lots of twists and turns while flipping the whole KH series on its head.
