China and India are upcoming economies. Especially China is working is way into the international world. Some people even say that in a few years China is gonna be more important then the USA. India is more a technology country. It could be like the England of Asia. With that said. What do you think should happen in your country? Should people stimulate these countries or should we hold back looking to the current situation in China and INdia?

My opinion is that we need to give them a chance. I prefferably would be for total fixation on China and India. Since the US-economy showed us his weak-points during the last crises. And I think that should be prevented by focussing on China and India. And then better is I think that the EU is gonna form his own 'country'. That way the EU-countries can profit together of the profits made with China and India. And I think that's the best thing to do.

Also action during the Olympic Games won't help at the moment. Because it only makes the Chineses angry and then they don't wanna deal with us. Futhermore they may even start to hate us for it. Plus the action will only hurt the inhabitants and the politicians. They still have the power and can manipulate the people that the 'western world' is the fault fo everything that goes wrong in China.

So total fixation on China, India and other upcoming countries. That is healthy for everyone. Even the US, who might can saved from a bankruptcy.

The whole things rather awkward really.

Its not that China blame the US for their problems parse, its mostly due to the fact they missed out that large amount of growth a lot of countries went through during the industrial era. The UK advanced a lot during that period so much was accomplished, we caused a lot of pollution during that time but things slowed down after, we steadily rose technologically from that point onwards.

China is basically reaching that point except with current technology, they want everything we have and they want it now, after all why shouldn't they thats why they are advancing so fast. Same goes for India but its not quite on the same population scale.

As for the whole EU thing it does form one stable economy to some degree, but I know that the UK is keen to stay out of it for as long as possible. It's not that it wouldn't benefit us or everyone else but our economy is still one of the strongest in the world.

Back to China they've had all their issues with Tibet lately which has caused a lot of controversy around the globe, but there's no real way to intervene. I would say you are right about the fact they have a lot of power and influence over the western world. Mostly because of their size and army...
Not that they'd ever be stupid enough to actually cause a massive conflict over anything but if they ever were too it doesn't bare thinking about.

Is it just me or is India becoming big passively, whereas China seems to be sending out a vibe of "WE'RE GONNA TAKE OVER YOU ALL". For example, doesn't India have some of the fastest rising medical facilities in the world?

I don't know whether it's just the effect of hearing people's paranoia towards learning Chinese because "it's the language of the future", but it really does seem to me that China is becoming really aggressive in the world?

India does seem to be as you say more passive I think they are more interested in showing they have the skills in their work force, I mean its somewhat stereotypical but generally you hear that they are all training or are doctors/dentists/lawyers and so forth.

I don't think China is aggressive but they get seen in that light mostly because they want to achieve their recognition as a super power technologically, but because they are such a big country its kinda imposing mostly because of the fact that a lot of people are trying to sort out being "green" in the world and China is obviously leading the other way unintentionally.

Chinese the language of the future thats a new one to me ^^ I know in the tv series Firefly and its counterpart film Serenity they spoke in Chinese as well as English I never really got why that was though. But seeing as China's population is still expanding and there are more chinese speaking people in the world than any other language nowadays purely because of that. I can kinda see where that would be coming from.

I don't think China is becoming more agrresive. I think that's the way the media put it down. Like the media in China put the US and other countries down as aggressors. That's why I think a working together will be good for both. They can see we aren't aggressive and they can see that from us.

Chinese the language of the future? I don't see problems in that. Would love to learn to speak Chinese. Never had a problem with it.
