Which one is more likely to make you replay a game?

I have unlocked almost all of the costumes in Tales of Vesperia, and had used the grade shop to unlock all of the skits. So I was in Nam Cobanda Island watching the skit viewer. When I had finally viewed them all, I got... an achievement. And was disappointed.

Does anyone else not care about their Gamerscore/Trophy Level unless it affects what they can do in the game?

Hell yes it matter to me. I LOVE trophies, even though they don't have any effect on the gameplay. It's a sense of accomplishment for me, and I quite enjoy it.

Eh...Trophies don't do much for me unless I can actually use them for something other than showing off. I prefer in-game rewards which I can actually use to further the experience in a game.

I personally don't really care about Trophies they are only really there to have as a record of what you have done in Games on your Network ID Card and to show off to others.

I love unlocking in Game bonus items and features these are bonuses have a grater sense of achievement because they have an effect on your current Game playthrough and or future playthrough of the game.

I will Microsoft credit for their recent attempts to try to tie achievements to something other than a Gamerscore. I don't think Avatar clothing/accessories are quite the right idea, but it's a step in the right direction.

But aren't there a lot extras in the Halo games tied to achievements? I don't play multiplayer, so a lot of is over my head, but I've heard achievements can unlock custom armour for multiplayer games. Which is a great way to integrate them into the gameplay experience.

I don't really care about trophies...but I really like getting all of the achievements, because it makes you feel like you've gotten everything out of the game, and you usually get a special item or something.

I love trophies. I like in game content as well, but only if it's good. Don't like doing something difficult and all the game gives me is one piece of concept art that I'll maybe look at once. I prefer unlocking some sort of in game cheat or effect.

Thats kinda true. In ODST and 3 certain achievements unlocked armor and extra Firefight character. In Reach you get points for kills which let's you buy bonuses including armor, Firefight voices, and special armor quantities.

Being an achievement whore I love achievements. But in game stuff is great too. I'm one of those people who gets everything possible in a game.
