I think if they are goanna do a remake it should be something that needs it
8 already has a way better graphic than 7 so it won't make much sense for them to redo it with 8

although truthfully they shouldn't remake anything
focus on making 100% complete new title first (13 wasn't the best because imo it's only half finished when it was realized same as 14)
so yeah know where to focus your assets man

It seems mature audience likes VIII more then VII.

If it's anything, I'd say this has more to do with it: "The Goo Ranking survey responders were 33.7% male and 66.3% female."

And personally, I would love a FF8 remake, if just so I could actually bring myself to play through it if they change the gameplay. I thought the draw magic/junctions system was absolute crap.

I think a VIII remake would be completely random. At least the VII remake would have some kind of a basis [the Compilation and such]. I'm a fan of both games, although admittedly VII a bit more, but I feel like an VIII remake is a little unnecessary. Hmmm.

I would prefer a remake of Legend of Dragoon or Klonoa: Door to Phantomile to be honest.

Square has been known for their remakes. Just because VII has a compilation doesn't mean that's the only basis for a remake. FFI to FFIV have already be remade so it isn't a surprise if they decide to remake the entire franchise.

Anyway screw remakes, bring on new FF titles I say (ideally both would be nice but we all know how good Square is at time management).

I say focus on current projects before remaking an older game. But I'm totally for a FFVIII remake. Honestly idea of making a FFVII remake is just so overrated already.

I wish that SE would remake FF 8, 9 and then 6, but it's just a dream after all ....
