I preordered my game in February from Amazon. Sucks that it'll arrive only after April. So I bought Prologus yesterday.
Game was pretty good, a whole lot faster than in Dissidia original. Light makes a fascinating fighter (switching between the three paradigms). Still though, there are other characters that were just the same as before.
Got me thinking though, who else is going to buy / bought Dissidia 012? Why?

Not I. Read a review that said some controls were clunky and a few other flaws. It was given a 7. Plus, I just haven't been that interested from the start.

^^I've seen reviews that pretty much contradict that and Its gotten more 9s and 8s then 7s and under. And every game has flaws Just sayin.


Anyway. Control wise the game is fine, especially if you change the movement from the the analog nub to the directional buttons. I've plugged in a few hours already and I'm enjoying it a lot. If you are a long time FF fan then this may cater to you because its FAN SERVICE. Its one of the best fan services at that.

Lightning is a lot of fun to play as but is hard to master. I've played as a few other characters but I like her fighting style the most so far.

Story is not the greatest, but if thats a big complaint from anyone then I want to know the name of a fighting game that has a great story. haha

Exactly. It was never going to be a story that's on-par with the traditional RPG, but the story has significantly improved since the original.

I got it yesterday. Haven't gotten to play it much because I share the psp with my brother and hes well how little brothers are. What I played of it was really fun.

very true. That i will say. I'm at least interested in it this time. It still does what it has to do... move you from battle to battle.
