Mm...I doubt a portable console would be sent to a developer when it's encased in a PC shell, it doesn't make any sense for it to be that big, even if it were a prototype. I think it's most likely the next generation of home consoles.

I also think it's unlikely it would be announced this E3, it would be a surprise if it did.

Well Microsoft would most likely be wanting to give EA a complete grilling for letting that leak, so it makes sense for them to deny it. On the other hand, this is completely out-of-the-blue so it could be a complete fabrication after all. But the current generation is going fairly strong, so I don't see why Microsoft would feel too much pressure to get their next console shifted any sooner. I don't think Sony or Microsoft will be particularly worried about Project Café right now either.
