I'm 25, and i couldn't be anymore late. But I don't regret it. What a great damn game. Chapter 4 was difficult and I didn't end up getting Cloud because Mustadio died earlier in the game. But this is was all worth it. Ramza ftw.

I played FFT on PS when it first came out. Played it to death, not the story but just maxing my jobs and playing with different combinations of jobs. I have to say this game has a ridiculously complex battle system and more stuff to goof with than you can shake a stick at. The story is one of the most amazing ever.

I ended up getting the remake for PSP "War of the Lion" and it was the awesome game I remember with some added stuff.

Which did you play? FFT PS, the port to PSN, or the War of the Lion remaster?

I have the PSN FFT, I've heard mixed things about the "War of the Lions" version, but i would definitely play through it if I had a psp. FFT Story was amazing, and far darker than i expected. Did you get the Mime or Calculator classes?

Well, War of the Lion is essentially the same FFT as PS1 and PSN's PS1 Classic. Just has some added jobs, extra characters, adhoc versus, extra side quests, CG/Artistic cutscenes, etc. Only annoyance I had with it is that being a remastering, I'd figure they would have gotten rid of some of the spell lag from the original. Guess they liked that slow motion effect now and then

I didn't play Mime or Calculator this time around. Calculators were crazy and I remember them from first time playing. Second time through on WotL I had a little too much fun with Dark Knights hehe... Some of my original favorites were Geomancers, Monks, and Time Mages.

Lately I've been considering getting FFTactics A2, but feeling like I'd enjoy Tactics Ogre LUCT more. Not sure. FFTA2 just looks sort of watered down, while TOLUCT looks way complex hehe.

I've been thinking the same question,
FFT War of Lions was awesome, it's truly got some nice gameplay (you can play a long time without it getting repetitive)
So I was wondering, should I buy Tactics Ogre?
Only problem (ish) with it is that it's one of the more expensive PSP titles out there
I was planning on either getting that or 3rd Birthday

I played it on GBA a long time ago (still got it somewhere), which is cheap now. But if you're talking the PSP one (Let us cling together) then ya, it's still just under 40 bucks because it just came out. I've heard nothing but good things about it. VEERY deep story apparently, and some challenges.

I'll definitely be snagging it after it drops to 30 bucks. Hard to spend more then 30 on a PSP title (except something I know I will love like Type0 or a Valkyria Chronicle). Unless I get done with my current titles before that happens. Working on FF13:RevenantWings, Okamiden, FFDissidia012, and FF4CC.

War of the Lions was the best version of the two. I played that game to freaking death on my PSP. It still is my favorite game on the PSP and I don't regret the hundreds of hours I spent playing it. Awesome game.
