Is this directed to the community or to the cast of FFU? The title confuses me, if you want to ask the guys and gals on the podcast you should post your question here Smile

But to answer the question, I would probably prefer to play it on the PSP, only because it has a slightly larger screen and I like the tactile feedback of buttons in general. However, I wouldn't mind giving it a go on an iOS platform, I think the older generation Final Fantasy's would play well on a touch screen device. Unfortunately, I don't own an iOS device, lol.

I think it's a decent question for those with both. For me, I have a non apple smartphone and I have to say, games with touch based Directional Pads make me want to punch a wall. Which is what you'll face for moving through the map (dungeons and towns). I just prefer the feedback you get from pushing a physical DPad. If that doesn't bother you, then I'd probably say you'd enjoy them more on your apple products seeing as you enjoy the touch.

I personally love my PSP with my FF titles. Currently (for port titles)I have FF1, FF2, FF4CC, FF7, and FFT. I havn't had a single problem with revisiting such classics on the PSP. I prefer playing them on PSP over the PS3 just because bringing the old graphics onto a smaller screen makes them look less dated. Of course, the exception for this is 1 and 2 which are fully graphically updated (keeping the same style though).

Other thing I love about the PSP is the amount of FF titles on it, new and old. There are 10 soon to be 13 FF titles on it.. Aside from FF3 they will have all the titles 1-9 on it. It makes my FF fandom go crazy.
