Huh, 200 watts? Wonder what all is being changed to manage that. I'd hope it wouldn't be gimped in any way to account for that. I'm all for a new PS3 if the console is going to live as long as they say.

The tech the PS3 is running is equivalent to about a 6-7 year old PC. So significant cutbacks can be made in power consumption. This is shown in how the Vita, iPhone, and iPad are capable of producing graphics similar to the PS3. They're only going to get cheaper from here! Smile

Can't wait to see this come out in the US...though if I do get a new PS3...I'll have to get a PS2...*Sigh...*
