What do people think about the new direction that the game has gone into. For me it just looks awful because it was all about arcade racing and now it's just another burnout clone but this is just me judging the trailer.

The visuals are great but, yeah, every racing game these days seems to like straying away from normal racing. Not that I entirely mind it but it as made all racing games the same. If you've played one, you've played them all.

The scariest thing for me is that they've said the controls have been made easier, as kids find it too hard to drift.

Excuse me, but when I was an 8 year old playing Ridge Racer for the first time, I didn't have anyone to hold my damn hand and I turned out just fine. I think it's pathetic that companies keep making games easier, what kind of precedence does it set? When does it end?

Wow...drifting in the game was really not that hard to do or even that hard to figure out how to.
