True. The game sold twice as much for the PS3 in Japan. With the fanbase and the crave so many people have for this game, you would think it would be the same case in the US and Perhaps Europe. Bandai does not think however. Some believe it is because of
Eternal Sonata's PS3 Sales. I heard it did terrible, thought I not sure how bad did it exactly did. (I can't find any information on it.)

Long story short it wouldn't be financially successful for them to bring it over (in North America ports tend to do worse than the original on average) when compared to a new release like Graces f or possibly Xillia down the road.

Plus they would have to get back all the original voice actors for the new voiced dialogue in Vesperia which might cause issues if any of them are busy with other projects. If they were the character would need to be recast which is more costly and could cause an issue like we had with Lloyd in ToS: DotNW.
