Quote:Rumour has it that Mirror's Edge 2 will be powered by DICE's Frostbite 2 engine, the very same that is powering the much anticipated Battlefield 3. Even Need for Speed: The Run is utilizing it.

ME was awesome, but it had a few bugs that really sucked. Looking forward to 2, hope they fix their mistakes and make the story a lil biger.

Maybe when this game comes out another hollywood movie can copy the opening sequence of this game.

Come on. JUST GIVE IT TO US ALREADY! They would be dumb not to look into a sequel.

You seem to have left out something. What is the name of the magazine?

But yeah, I LOVE Mirror's Edge, and even bought the remix album of the theme song!

Thought I would get into mirrors edge, so I bought it brand new for $10. Now I barely play it, it is collecting dust in my pile of shame.

I loved every bit of Mirror's Edge. It was the first game I can say I felt truly immersed. I can't honestly say it was like that the whole game, but the opening title portion when faith was running on the building was so surreal. It was such a breath of fresh air it made me want to take a deep breath(WEIRDO I know). There was just a really inviting atmosphere about it. The only other game that I know that had such a strong atmosphere was Shadow of the Colossus. Where the atmosphere feels wide and open for possibility. The story and action don't get in the way of just being a part of the world.

I just hope the new engine captures the over saturated colors properly. Thankfully DICE are the ones that made Mirror's Edge. I've also felt FrostBite 2 looked like an amalgamation of all the things they learned about lighting in Mirror's Edge.
