Looks like we might need the add-on to play KH3D or it might just be convenient. $20 is a bit much but at the same time seems right for Nintendo peripheral pricing. I'll get it if I need to play KH3D.

I'm beginning to feel as though the 3DS is trying to mimic the Vita before it's even released. I think KH3D should have been platformed for Vita/PSP instead.

Yes, that probably would have been the better idea. The Vita will most likely be more powerful as a handheld, thus better graphics, engine performance, etc. would have been possible. Then again, though I'm going to get a Vita eventually, I already have a 3DS and can start playing KH3D immediately, at least if I have the circle pad peripheral.

Makes me wonder what exactly is keeping this game exclusive for the 3DS, and not be developed for the Vita as well, if Nintendo is going through such lengths to put out a second analog nub add-on.

And its not like that Vita can't also do touch screen controls that the 3DS does, minus the second screen. Like you really need another, anyway just to reference your inventory.
