Yup not only that but its been charting in the top 20 in Japan since its launch.....now thats extremely rare in Japan!

Only an extremely positive word of mouth can result in that.

Very true but it was also that they were able to take full advantage of what the game had to offer. Which was the multiplayer aspect.

That right there is the worst list of 'best' games I've ever, ever seen. Only one or two of those games even remotely deserve to be on there, that's pretty gross to consider. Only goes to show how far Famitsu has fallen perhaps, or better yet how xenophobic the Japanese gaming industry may be.

I'm a bit surprised, look at how few of the games on that list were amomg Famitsu perfect 40/40 scores.
