Have you ever checked out the forum stats? Have you noticed that the largest amount of users ever online at a time took place almost a year ago? Has that ever impacted you? Fortunately, it will not anymore... I remember back in the day when I first joined GU. I was surprised to find out just how much of a great community resides here.

Everyone knew everyone, and what each other was doing. The community was so small, yet one strange thing remained... It was the record of “Currently active users”. How come the largest amount of users at once took place before most of that day’s active users had joined afterward? That record remains a mystery even to this day.

It was last year on November 11th at 9:14pm G.M.T. The amount we had was 268 members. The total amount of registered members at that time was roughly 1,000, with about 200 of them being active members. However, since then, GU has undoubtedly increased in size a great deal. We have almost 5,000 registered members and over 700 active members these days. Since GU has increased in size so much, a task of pride has risen… We cannot let that record remain. It must go…

This year on October 24th at 9:00pm G.M.T. we are going to break this record!!! What you need to do is to get onto gamingunion.net at this time and stay on for about an hour. Don’t just stay idle! You have to post and click on threads!

Post in this thread that you will defiantly be attending this event! We need as many people as we can to break the record!

A note guys; get on GU through multiple computers! I'm talking your phone, ps3, computer, ipod, and any other web browsing system! But be sure to use multiple IP addresses or GU won't recognize you as multiple users. (also, don't sign into your user with all of them or you'll get banned... xD)
