Aye, I don't like it anymore than the next person. In the end, it's the same result whenever it comes to piracy, the consumers end up paying more while the pirates still get the freebies.

Meh...I wouldn't have a problem with the price if they added a memory stick to the Vita when you first buy it. That's just really really bad...It just makes it seem like Sony didn't learn anything about what consumers like...

Has Sony said they weren't going to add the stick in with the Vita? All PSP bundles come with a memory stick, it would seem odd not to include one.

I think there's a slot for game cards and another for memory and this is what these are for. I hope Sony do include the memory sticks in the bundles like they did with the PSP.

That's correct, from what I've seen/read. One slot is for the game cartridge and it's similar to a SD card in shape/size. The second slot takes the memory card which i similar shape/size to MicroSD card.

Some games cartridges have extra space for game saves and updates while others require you to save/update to a memory card.

That's all I know so far. And yes, I'd be so for a memory card to be included. Even if it's a starter small capacity like 4GB. It's too confusing to some consumers (like parents buying for their kids) to know that some games require an additional purchase of a memory card. If not give away a free 4GB, at least to have bundles available for easy purchases as gifts or just easy setup. Which I'm sure they will.

I know most here don't think it's complicated, but trust me, there are plenty out there that arn't as informed as we in the Vita or how memory works. Especially non gamers buying gifts which is a huge market.

To all those PSP users who illegally downloaded games, you have lost.

how so? just because Sony HOPES to prevent piracy with this new memory format doesn't exactly mean they will. there have been HUNDREDS of different methods to prevent piracy, and yet how many have really been successful? by my count, none.

The only way to ever stop piracy is to stop releasing movies, music, games, etc. in a digital format. And since I don't see that happening anytime soon, piracy will continue. Let's say it together now! Three, two one... Yar! Rolleyes
