It's almost that time of year where we break from school/university. Workers get a few days off due to religious/state holidays. Family members that you might not get to see regularly come to stay for a few days.

The Winter Holiday is the BEST holiday because of so many reasons. First of all, if you believe in some specific traditions, you might be getting video games as presents! It's also too cold to go outside to much, which is a brilliant excuse to stay in with video games! It's nice when siblings gather in their childhood home because you can play games together like you did as kids! And overall, YOU CAN PLAY LATE INTO THE NIGHT BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET UP EARLY TOMORROW.

So come on guys... WHAT ARE YOUR WINTER HOLIDAY/SEASON GAMING PLANS?


Personally, my pile of shame is getting to be full out disgraceful. I need to finish so many games. ACR and Arkham City are at the top of that list. Unfortunately, I ordered a copy of Skyrim today, so I'm guessing that my hours will go down the drain with that instead. I'm also looking forward to my younger brother coming to stay for two weeks, meaning that we can dust off the NES and get some SMB3 going!

Probably just going to keep playing Skyrim, but I might replay Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2.

Probably finish up UC3 (which is a chore) and then move onto my currently favorite game, Borderlands...Hopefully, I can complete both games in time...

gonna replay ALL my X360 games since I bought a 250GB X360S model and my original didn't have an XBL account so i couldn't be bothered transferring the data, so I'm gonna start off with FFXIII (in anticipation for FFXIII-2 in February) then I'll replay Mass Effect 1 & 2 (also in anticipation for ME3 in March) with all haste and then I'll just take the other 38 games at a more casual pace

I bought Dragon Age: Origins complete edition a week ago so would be playing through that and as well as Magic The Gathering: duels of the planeswalkers 2012 on steam which is really fun.

Yea, I got a few RPGs to try to complete, so over the holiday season, I'll probably be focusing on the most important on the list: FF5, and then maybe a little Baten Kaitos...

btw, Major points Chloe for the plans to get down on some SMB3 with your brother. Nothing like playing classic games with siblings. I can't say though to doing it in the reason of rekindling a fond childhood memory, because my brothers never played games with me as kids (not to say I don't enjoy playing classic games like SMB, and Contra with my brothers... because I do)
