I buy limited editions if they have a special ingame item that I would be angry not to have, or at a disadvantage if I didn't have.

I don't think you'll find any catchy special edition for only $10 more but if there were any, I'd probably get it just because of the reasonable price. But anyways, I only buy games when I really really want a game, so there would always be a possible incentive to throw in a lil extra for that special edition if it is worth it

Well, I've gotten YS SE for like 10$ more...but it was used I believe. Most of the games I buy are used, so I suppose it might be a bit different.

I love getting the Collector's editions of game I know I'm going to like. I have the Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach paid off. I love getting all the collectible stuff from games. Kinda makes them feel more complete. Not to mention I love geeking out. I have a ton of them and most of them I feel like I got my moneys worth.

Depends. So far the only limited/special/collectors editions that I have bought are the Resistance 2 and Peace Walker Big Boss bundle. Why? R2 came with a Chimera figure and well...Peace Walker was just so damn worth it Got a new PSP plus a bunch of other goodies for a bundle price.

Now things like MW? I'll never touch those, for one, no NVD that costs less than thousands is ever going to function properly, it's just a glorified toy and for $150? No thank you. I'm a huge DJ Max Fan and the $110 special edition is tempting, but I probably won't get it, it's just too much for too little.
