What ever happened to letting them borrow a certain game in the series and then asking them weeks later if they like it or hate it.

First step figure out what the other person likes if they like violence expose them to final fantasy violence (advent children) and so on

If They like story try writing up a small preveiw of a final fantasy with a great story and tell em that its an idea you have that way they don't shoot it down because its an ff

Basically what I'm saying play on what you know the other person likes

Start your friend off with the earlier Final Fantasys (sies? idk). They're there, they've been remade/ported a million times, they're available and they're not hard to find. Then just go on from there.

i got one gamer friend ( who is a boy) .He had never played any FF.Then i showed him my fav Tifa pic from ACC and well, he watched AC, play FF7,8...and now become a FF fan.
