Tell us your fav surprising moments in FF series ! We has seen many in any FF right ?

Well, mine is a small scene :
I watched FF 13 cut scenes on Youtube in random order. So one day, when i watched the scence when Hope wanted to take lead, Light said : " Now you're learning. " than SMILED. I was like " OM*G O.O , Light smiled ?!?! Did she just smile ? ", played back , "YES, she did !!!!"

Well I was playing it at like 4 or 5 in the morning so I was half asleep. Then, suddenly, Aeris gets stabbed in the back.

Honestly, I can't seem to think of anything that I would have found supprising in the FF series at this point, seeing as 90% of everything I knew about going into the game was spoilers. ran into way too many people spoiling everything,

FF5 :note: even though the thread is marked for spoilers, I'm still gonna make these white

there is a moment in Final Fantasy Tactics that shocked me though
Delita becoming your enemy yea, I don't know why this shocked me, but it did...

::EDIT:: Oh, I almost forgot another moment from FFTactics that surprised me Gafaron (sp?) turning on Ramza and co.... Did not see that one coming at all O_O

Hm, I can't really think of anything right now...but I was surprised when Denzel yelled, "Son of a bstch!". I was like, "Woah, that kid just swore! Awesome!

I wasn't surprised about Aerith's death, because I never played VII when it first came out. SPOILERS about that are definately not secret.
