Bulletstorm
Bulletstorm is a self-confessed crazy game. Sick and tired of all of the carbon copies out there, People Can Fly have created a first-person shooter that certainly doesn't take itself seriously.

| 9 | Bulletstorm is the only first-person shooter game I've played where I actually feel like I failed shortly after the tutorial. The game's goal is simple enough: kill opponents in various ways to progress through the story (or online mode) and gain points while doing so; the more interesting the kill the more points you get. Everyone knew this from the very first commercials that were released for the title, highlighting all the brutal (and often times crude) means of mowing down enemy soldiers. People Can Fly highlight the game as an arcade shooter for casual players, something for just anyone to sit down and enjoy. The back of the box will label this game as 'An intense, outrageous shooter'. Neither of these descriptions truly bring out exactly how much fun Bulletstorm is, and how easy it is to underestimate in depth and quality. » Read the full review |
