The last human city has been destroyed. Time is running short for the stranded survivors as Marcus Fenix and the last remaining soldiers face off with the overwhelming Locust and a brand new enemy in a war to save what little is left of the human race.

| 8 | There's no escaping the fact that Gears of War has been one of the stand-out franchises of this generation and it's hard to understate how much of a coup it was for Microsoft to score it exclusively. The first title arrived at the perfect time and went on to sell millions.
