GOTY 2011: Best Developer Award

 GOTY 2011: Best Developer Award

After looking at the Best Indie Developer we're now moving onto the big boys, with the Best Developer award.

These ten companies produced some awesome games throughout the year, and Mojang have even managed to sneak in this list too, despite also being featured in the Best Indie Developer category:

Naughty Dog
Eidos Montreal
Epic Games
DICE
Bethesda Games
Rockstar Games/Team Bondi
Rocksteady
Mojang
Insomniac Games
Valve

And the winner of Best Developer 2011 is..... Bethesda Games!

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion released quite a few years ago and when Bethesda Softworks announced that they were working on a follow-up named The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, fans literally went crazy.

Since that moment, the hype was insane. And the great thing is, the game delivered. There are so many stories of people pumping literally days into the game since its release and the GamingUnion.net editorial staff are no different.

It was a close call though, with the competition being so hot - it wasn't a unanimous decision by any stretch of the imagination. But that's what democracies are for, right?
