2009 Club Nintendo Rewards Revealed

The 2009 Club Nintendo rewards have finally been revealed. This June was the cutoff to obtain "Elite Status" on Club Nintendo, either as a Gold or Platinum ranking member. The Japanese version of the service has been known for having some unique bonuses, such as a Super Famicom-themed Wii Classic Controller and Super Mario Galaxy soundtracks, so North American users have been waiting to see what unique bonuses Nintendo would be revealing for them.

Platinum members can choose between a WiiWare titled called Doc Louis's Punch-Out!!, which is a trimmed down version of the retail game and features Doc Louis as your opponent, or a replica Mario hat. Gold members will get a Nintendo-themed calendar. Unlike in Japan, Platinum members do not have access to the Gold member rewards, so those who might have wanted the calendar are out of luck.

Nintendo is planning to ship the items come November. You must claim your bonus by August 11th.
