Capcom revealed just yesterday that Street Fighter IV will be landing on Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch sometime next month. However, it appears that isn't all the good news for gamers on-the-go as the title may very well be heading to Sony's PlayStation Portable.
If the iPhone and iPod Touch are capable of presenting Street Fighter IV with its distinct art style and visuals, it's not an outrageous notion that Capcom may just make a PSP version that handles even better. The question was from a Q&A session posted on Shiozawa's blog, revealing that she and many of her comrades-in-arms would like to see Street Fighter IV on the PSP. It won't be the first time a fighting franchise saw action on the portable device with recent titles like Namco Bandai's Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur Broken Destiny, both of which exhibited jaw dropping visuals and relatively tight controls.
Meanwhile, the iPhone and iPod Touch versions are planned for a March release and following that is Super Street Fighter IV for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which will be available at the end of April.
