Just last month the first details of Armored Core 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 leaked out a tiny, tiny bit. Today, publisher/developer From Software makes it a trend with the game's first teaser trailer. The trailer doesn't pull any surprises for series veterans, but it does look like it matches up with previous reports about the game.
A February issue of Japanese magazine, Famitsu, noted a few of the changes for Armored Core 5, though it's doubtful these are the biggest reveals to entice fans and gamers to pick up the game. The changes include the robots, "mecha" as they're commonly known, are half the size of their predecessors. Previous games saw 10 metre tall mecha, Armored Core 5 will see 5 metre tall versions.
A minuscule revelation, we know, but what it means for gameplay is a greater use of verticality in the game, as well as stealth. It's hard to picture a stealthy mecha that would wake dogs for miles around just by crossing its robotic legs, but judgement is yours with the teaser below.
