"Lost in Nightmares" has been officially released on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, marking the first bit of Resident Evil 5 DLC to arrive on consoles. The content picks off from one of the games flashbacks, where Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine discover the Umbrella founders massive castle and catch up to their old nemesis.
Originally featured in an in game cinematic, "Lost in Nightmares" lets players actually participate in the fight that started out as a cutscene. The DLC also comes with two more characters for Mercenaries Mode: Excelle Gionne (who doesn't look very well dressed for zombie killing) and Barry Burton, who lends his zombie killing experience from the first Resident Evil game.
The DLC costs 400 Microsoft Points, or 4.99 on the Playstation Network. "Desperate Escape", the next planned bit of DLC, is slated to hit sometime in March.
