Sega have announced that they will be publishing the latest project from High Voltage Software, Tournament of Legends. As with their previous titles, it will be appearing exclusively on Nintendo Wii.
Tournament of Legends is said to offer a 3D fighting experience, with a wide range of characters based on legends within mythology. Combat will involve weapons, and in that sense, it doesn't sound too dissimilar to Soul Calibur. However, players will be able to switch weapons and even restore their health during combat, which shows that an extra layer of depth will be added to fights.
It's going to be made using High Voltage's Quantum 3 engine, and it's due for release during May 2010. It looks like Sega aren't giving up with hardcore titles after all.
