Super Street Fighter IV isn't set to be released until this April, but for those needing a new dose of fighting games, Capcom has you covered with their newest announcement: an iPhone version Street Fighter IV. The original game was released back February of last year on home consoles and in July for the PC version.
From the screenshots over at IGN, it appears that Capcom has taken the same artwork and design from the original game but in a slightly downgraded format due to the resolution of the iPhone. It keeps the same 2.5D look and feel as the original, but uses a virtual joystick and buttons to compensate for the lack of external controls. A training mode is available, along with the ability to move around the controls and change their configuration for the hardcore players out there.
Currently only Ken and Ryu are confirmed to be playable, but Capcom stated that more characters will be introduced before the release. Multiplicity is available through the iPhone's Bluetooth capabilites. Street Fighter IV for the iPhone is set for a March 2010 release.
