Even though Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Stimulus Package content had a notoriously hefty price tag and was criticized for being too expensive at roughly $15, there was apparently no problem with paying that price for two and a half million people since its release.
Having already broken download records on Xbox Live with over a million downloads in the first 24 hours of the pack's release, the number has steadily climbed to the 2.5 million mark in just one week. This translates to roughly $37 million USD in revenue for Activision in just a week of release.
The most interesting part of this is that all of these copies are only one week in and only for one console. The Stimulus Package will also be coming to PS3 and PC later this year, and it will be shocking to see what number this pack reaches by the end of the year.
