Well, it seems like the announcement only came yesterday, but tonight will be the very last night to play on Xbox Live with original Xbox titles. Yes, there will most likely be tears as all Xbox original titles will lose their multiplayer online support. This includes everything, even Halo 2, which will still most likely have players online right up until shutdown.
Its times like this that players need to look to a brighter future. Don't fear, Live players, these relics will live on in memory for years to come. All those team deathmatches, races, and yelling matches will live on in the spirit that is Xbox 360's Live service.
Isn't it time to move on anyway? Acceptance is key here people. Halo 3 is here, as well as Reach just around the corner. Besides, there is always split screen and system link. Maybe it's time to meet up with some friends and play together again? Come on now, don't act like you never had a LAN party.
