Blizzard has announced that tickets for it's fifth annual Blizzcon will be going on sale on June 2 and 5, and in true Activision fashion, the tickets this year will cost a pocket gouging $150 a piece. The ticket sales will only be on these two days and will be good for the event in Anaheim on October 22 and 23.
For those who really want to get in on the event without actually flying out to California, there will also be a multichannel Pay-Per-View event package from DirecTV that will run about $40. The two day event package will also include an online internet stream to watch from a computer or laptop. Just in case you don't want to miss out on anything from work.
Of course there will be the traditional World of Warcraft in-game item that is yet to be revealed. Is the item worth $150? Probably not, but Warcraft fans will most likely pay for it, unfortunately. Seems that these ticket prices keep rising from year to year until they may implode.
