After much internet speculation yesterday, Microsoft has confirmed a partnership with LG to promote 3D on Xbox 360. The deal only applies to South Korea at the moment, however, the company told Edge that the agreement is "further evidence that as 3D adoption grows, Xbox 360 will support 3D games and entertainment."
"As we've said before, 3D games are available today on Xbox 360 and will continue to evolve," said a spokesman from Microsoft's UK Public Relations office. "Today, you can buy a 3DTV and wear glasses to play games like Avatar, and more titles like Batman: Arkham Asylum are on the way."
It appears the current 3D craze really is extending to games in a major way. All three platform manufacturers have indicated 3D initiatives - Sony with a 3D enabled PS3, Nintendo with the 3DS, and now Microsoft. Are you interested in 3D games?
