'You Will Die', a new twin-stick shooter in the Xbox Live Indie Marketplace from developer Dead Pixel, is holding quite an interesting score competition for those hoping to top a record score and earn a digital handful of Microsoft Points.

You Will Die is the first Xbox Live Indie title to feature scoreboards kept on record by the infamous games record keeper, Twin Galaxies. To celebrate this collaboration, Dead Pixel is offering 10 000 Microsoft Points to the player to reach the top score in You Will Die by August 1. That's a lot of points, and it translates to roughly $125USD in digital download dollars.

Runners up will also be eligible to win 1600 points for second place and 400 for third. Players wanting to pick up a copy and compete in the You Will Die scoreboard challenge can do so right away for 80 MS Points on the Indie Marketplace.
